They are using words like oppa and saranghae. and theres tons of foreigners wanting to be a kpop idol (they have no sense of reality, non-asian in kpop? really?). and they only want to go to korea for the idols. Korea is much more then kpop -.-

Even though I am a foreigner who likes K-pop and other Korean entertainment, I agree that people who use random Korean words and want to be a K-pop idol are annoying. They're just like the people who have watched one anime and then go around using Japanese words like kawaii. But you have to remember that a lot of people that like Korean culture aren't like that, it's just that the annoying people tend to be more open and confident about it.

Least they know where Korea is now. Before I got into kpop all I knew about Korea was what I'd learned about the Korean War in History class.

Japan is much more then anime, France is a lot more then the sights in Paris, Egypt is a lot more the the pyramids and the sphinx, Italy is a lot more then Roman ruins, the Netherlands is a lot more then tulips, drugs and windmills. But those are the reasons why a lot of people visit those countries. Be happy that Korea has something that makes people interested in Korea.

And most international kpop fans aren't like saying "Oppa" and "Saranghae" and wanting to be kpop idols.

Shouldn't you feel happy that foreigners are taking interest in korea because of kpop? Ofc there is a lot more to korea than kpop but its because of kpop and kdrama that i got understood some of the korean culture. And there are so many kpop fans who learnt korean including me. Sure, people who excessively use oppa and saranghe are being koreaboos but you cant generalize all kpop fans like that.my point is, if you aren't putting down hollywood music fans who want to visit america then you cant put down kpop fans for wanting to go to korea. Korea is getting recognised for kpop so i suggest you just be happy about that.

P.s. its been decades and you still stay stuff like "dont call me japanese, its offensive to us koreans" when you guys venture so freely into the japanese market to branch out kpop? Tch, tch. How patethic.

That's like how in K-pop songs they sing one or two English words over and over again throughout the song, for an example: baby, yes, no etc. I don't see anyone complaining about that? so why don't you grow the F*ck up and get over it because at the end of the day everyone is guilty of what you speak of in some sort of way.

P.s maybe that's all they know what to say in Korean? the fact that they at least know something about South Korea is something to be happy about.

Well...You can't stop these.

Well at least more people know korea than better not knowing them exist or thinking it a japanese or a chinese country.
