I live in California and I'm going to ship a box with hard candies and a shirt inside to South Korea. I want it to get there within 3-4 days. The box weight 5 pounds and it is 12x10x5 (LxWxH).

Which postage do I use? Domestic, International, or Business?

I only have $60 on me. I'm 18+ so I don't want to depend on my parents. I don't want to use the USPS website because I have to put in the postal zip code, but in South Korea there's no postal zip code (if there is, I don't have it from the person I'm shipping to). The city is Osan-si.

It's my first time shipping items in a box so I don't know anything about this. I heard there is also inspections and forms I'll need to fill out. Do I need to bring any kind of identification form? I need someone who has experienced this before or works at the post office to answer. Please be a little specific. Thank you so much in advance!

Put the items in a plain box and address it. All Korean addresses have a six digit postal code that looks something like this: xxx-xxx. US military personnel have APOs. Phone the post office before you go to see if they can look up a Korean postal code for you. If not, post the address here and I'll try to find the code for you. If you don't want to post the address in a public forum, then you could try googling the text part of the address only (no numbers) to locate a nearby building and use the same postal code. You would google something like this: xxx-dong xxx-gu, osan (shi just means "city." you don't have to google or even write it on the package in English). Osan is a big city with numerous postal codes.

When you have the full address including postal code, you're ready to mail your package. The cheapest is surface, which means by boat if you're shipping to Korea. Surface takes 8-12 weeks. Rates have probably gone up since I last mailed a package overseas, but you can certainly send a 5 lb. package for under $60. You might even be able to send it airmail. You do not need insurance for what you're sending. Korea's postal service is highly reliable as long as the mail is addressed correctly.

Go to the post office they can look up the postal code.

You must go in person to mail boxes or packages.

Depending no the weight it may cost more than sixty dollars.

You will need to fill out customs forms, which are also at the post office.

They will put the postage on the box, and it must go air mail, but that will not get it there in 3 to 4 days unless you use priority or express postage.

$11 ought to be a decreased fare for a shopper with a commercial account. Weight is the main, no longer the size. I in basic terms shipped a container to South Korea slightly smaller than yours that weighed it at decrease than 20 lbs and it value us $40 5 to deliver it USPS. If it suits it ships super pay as you go container.
