10 points best answer: Are there any kpop celebrities with flat noses?

Ok so i've noticed i havent seen anyone from Super Junior, SNSD, Big Bang, DBSK, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, ect with flat noses, have they gotten surgery or are most celebrities chosen for un-flat noses.

My nose isnt flat, it is high/pointy so would i have a better chance in auditioning and making it?

Also would having single eyelids/monolid be a disadvantage, or will they make me get surgery?

Also would having a cutesy/squeaky singing voice be a advantage b/c i heard they look for the more cute image and i can hit the really high notes without cracking. but i cant sing low without sounding weird.

well, most kpop fans know that kpop artists usually have plastic surgery. But NATURALLY, Koreans don't have flat noses. Well, if your nose isn't flat, i think you will have a better chance to make in auditions. :)



I think it depends on you if you want your eyelids to be done.

Koreans have single eyelids as we know. Because it is common to all of the Koreans to have single eyelids, their artists tend to have their eyelids done by surgery to have double eyelids because it makes their eyes look bigger. Having single eyelids isn't a disadvantage though, but to them having double eyelids have more advantage than having single eyelids.



Well, i think the cutesy/squeaky singing voice isn't a problem because some kpop artists do have that kind of voice. What matters most is that you can dance well and sing well. It is also a plus factor if you could reach high notes. :)

i agree with above. all the crap with companies nowadays is with SM...

obviously you will definitely have an initial advantage if you've got the looks. some companies might recommend that you do surgery, but i doubt they will FORCE you (dunno bout sm...) and also they usually don't actually make you change your appearance until right before your debut

however, the final and most important factor and decision will still be based on your talent. can't really judge by a DESCRIPTION of your voice, but if you know how to use it right then it shouldn't matter.



so send your audition vids to them! not trying to discourage you, but with so many young girls/guys trying out, it's pretty difficult to get chosen to be a trainee, let alone debut. so just send it in for fun and don't worry about what will happen.



p.s. i think yg is the company i like most. they rely mostly on talent and treat their artists well. no ridiculous annoying amount of promotion, but the artists are still very popular because of their talents. about the comment to daesung, it's just the staff, doesn't reflect on the company as a whole. i like him too, but i admit that he is definitely not the best looking guy i've seen, and surely the least handsome in big bang. don't get me wrong, still love his humor and voice<3

They wouldn't force you to get plastic surgery for your nose, nor you eyes.

Go join YG Or JYP, because they accept you as you are.



DO NOT AUDITION SM.

They once beat up Jaejoong from dbsk and he had to wear a black mask to a concert so they wouldn't get caught. If your a girl, as soon as you make the audition there going to ask you to do plastic surgery. If you don't, there is a 99% percent chance you will suddenly be "Dropped" out of the audition winners. Basically, don't do the surgery, don't join with SM.

Im not saying don't go to sm entertainment because of plastic surgery because all of the entertainments are going to ask for plastic surgery but i mean do whatever you want and I don't know if that dbsk thing is true and plus I just started recently like big bang and daesung is the pretty one in my eyes

Actually, Minzy from 2NE1 has a "flat" nose and I find her really cute :D
