I would consider them alternative rock/pop. But since their aren't many groups like them (that Im aware of, at least) they are kind of forced into the kpop genre.

Yup. I guess that they are rock.. But they're popular!!! So cnblue is ＫＰＯＰ as well as Korean rock. Not all of their songs are rocking especially Yonghwa solos
