Running Man airs at around 5 p.m. on Sundays, Korean time. The way Korean broadcast television works, TV shows don't actually begin on the hour--they are preceded by up to 20 minutes of commercials, with the duration varying to encourage viewers to tune in early and watch the commercials (the show itself usually runs 1:15-1:30 without commercials).

The past couple of weeks, however, Running Man has aired a little bit earlier (4:50 instead of 5), and is running a lot shorter (50 minutes instead of 75+). That's because Running Man is actually just half of a 3-hour variety programming block called "Good Sunday," and its partner program, K-Pop Star, is entering its final phase of competition, so the network has decided to air the latter program live and expand its broadcast to almost two hours. It remains to be seen whether this is how it'll stay until K-Pop Star ends its run in April; regardless, it's only going to be a temporary arrangement.
