Hi! I'm Susan! I will like to audition for Korean Entertainment

I'm 23 years old, I'm Vietnamese and a quarter White, 5'6, and I weigh 130.

I'm currently studying how to speak korean.

I was hoping you guys could help me out which Korean Entertainment will best suit me. I can sing (my voice is similar to Selena Gomez), and I can dance. I take voice lesson every week, and also hip hop dance class every week.

What I'm afraid of is that, that they won't accept me because of my tattoos. I have some revealing tattoos, and some are hidden.

I have what it takes, because I am determined and motivated. Could you please help me? Could you also name some of the Korean Entertainments names, and their address please? Like DSP, C-Jes, JYP, SM, YG, Brothers Entertainment, Cube, etc. Some of their website are in korean, could you please give me their address? I will like to mail it to them, and audition live in LA for SM.

Here is my photo http://a1.twimg.com/profile_images/1389460844/profilepix.jpg

Thank you.

Hey there...I'm Vietnamese also :D

If you can sing, go to YG. They 0% care about looks,ages...

If you have look,go to SM. Look first,Talent later.

If you can dance, choose JYP. 50% about looks,50% about talent

I think you should go to YG :D

Audition:

Right now I only have information about SM's audition..

If you pass the 1st round where you audition with many people..

Then fly to Korea..meeting the judges..audition with some people who passed 1st round

If you pass 2nd round...You'll hv a private meeting with the judges...THey'll ask you about your extra talents (like acting, modelling, instruments)

If the judges like you..They'll take you to the recording studio (to see how your voice sounds like at the recording stuff) You'll also be taken for a photo shooting...to see how you look like in pictures...Blah blah blah They'll show you how living in stardom like

If they're happy with that...They'll discuss it with your parent...But I guess you're at age to decide by yourself :P

If you agree with that...The judges will show your report to SM's managers (Kim Youngmin,Lee Sooman I think) at monthly meeting.

If they agree with that..You'll become a trainee.

Training takes lots of time and efforts...So it's not easy.

GOOD LUCK!

There's ongoing online audition where you send in videos There's sometimes 'Around the World' auditions (2012 SM Youth Star Audition atmo, there was a JYP one a while back and YG is getting ready for a World audition as well) There's center auditions weekly where you go to the entertainment companies and audition there... Good Luck! There are Chinese and Japanese and Thai people who are in K-POP groups dw,

I'm sure its fine if you have tattoos. Besides, are the tattoos going to sing? No, they're not. If they're human and they have hearts they'll pick you because of your talent and determination :)

And this is what I know from what I read.

If you pass the first round, there's another audition you go to, from there theres another one and finally a final audition where they get to pick the winner.

Those are just from out of the blue, the information about the audition is what i read and what i heard of. I could be wrong, but i'm quite positive that's the process of the audition.

Hello!

I'm also auditioning to one of the KPop companies soon.

So... 23 yrs old is fine, but you better hurry up and audition immediately! Of course you know that kpop industries have long trainee years, and surely you don't wanna debut that old right? No offense please, just an advice. It's good that you have an Asian blood, and you're tall.

Well, it's not because I'm bias but I suggest you to go for YG Entertainment. They treat their artists really, really well but you need to undergo tough, tough trainings but of course it's hard to get in YG. YG is very, very choosy. He accepts only those who got the the talent, which means, 100% talent and confidence.

JYP is also good, really good. If you have the passion, go for JYP.

CUBE is the sister company of JYP, good as well.

I don't have much to say about Brothers and C-Jes, I haven't researched much about them, but ask me about YG, I know A LOT about them. So, if you love Hiphop and RnB musics, go email me and ask more about YG. :)

I suggest that... Uhm, you shouldn't go for SM. As you can see, SM has young artists therefore, he's looking for YOUUUUNNGGG trainees. VERY young trainees. Most of his talents had undergone 6-9 years before they finally debuted. But if you love SM so much, don't let some one stop you (even me, haha). Go for your dream! ^^

As for you photo, you're pretty and you look younger than your age. ^^

But let me inform you that the pictures you must include on your demo tape/folder shouldn't be edited. They would love to see you bare/natural face and beauty. Okay? :)

Your singing videos SHOULD HAVE INSTRUMENTALS.

and lastly, it depends. after passing you demo tape, I guess they'd contact you immediately (for 2 weeks to 1 month) if you got in. Then they probably would tell you if you're shortlisted or not. That's for YG, I don't know much about other companies...

YG audition manager emails you directly to you account effective immediately and notify you if ever they received your demo tape.

Email me if you've decided to go for YG ENTERTAINMENT. :)
